We need to export contacts from Outlook and then import them into our web
service.
The problem is there doesn't seem to be a unique identifier that Outlook
will put into the csv/tab/Excel files that are created, so there's no way to
tell which contacts are changed/deleted/created.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to tell Outlook to include some sort
of contact identifier in its export sequence? (We're a Linux shop, so if
Outlook only includes this when it exports to proprietary formats it doesn't
do us much good.)
