File access denied on my copied .pst file

I copied my outlook messages from my office computer and tried to import to
my home outlook. Message came up that I don't have proper access rights to
that file. What happened, how do I fix. I could move some .pst files but
not others. Very strange.

If copying from CDR/RW to hard drive, make sure the read-only attribute gets
removed. (Messaging system opens *.pst files for read/write/exclusive
access.)

I took "neo"'s advise, removed the read only, then copied the "outlook.pst"
file from my D disc and copied it to the "outlook.pst" file in drive C. It
asked if I wanted to replace the file, I said yes, copied it and it worked!
Only took me 10 hours to get these files to work. :) Wish we could call
Microsoft for free for advise - like HP gives so much good free advise on
their printer, I even bought a new HP laptop computer. If I had a choice -
wouldn't buy microsoft as they won't give free tech advice. But, sadly, I
have no choice. Now to see if I can get 2003 to copy my XP files in Excel
and word. :)
