Hi All
I had someone attach a database file I needl.
I receive a message "Outlook blocked access to the potentialy unsafe
attachment: MeetingRooms.mdb"
I could not find any setting to change so I can access this file. I do not
want it blocked.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Harold

Either get the sender to re-send the file after having re-named it with a
zip extension, or
have a look here for permanent solutions:

Hi Gordon
Thanks for the reply. Sorry for not including the version of Outlook.
My friend zipped the file, so all is well now.
I can't believe I'm not the one who decides what files I will allow!

If it were up to everyday users to decide what files are safe to receive
and to open, then we would see even more malware infections than we
actually do. Those users with enough knowledge to avoid such problems
usually will find a way to accept even "potentially unsafe" attachments.
