"File cannot be opened" error using Shared Resource Pool

I am using Project 2003 Pro SP2. I have the shared resource pool file open
r/o and have my project file that is sharing the resources from the pool
open. When I save my project file, I sometimes get the following error.
Any thoughts on this one?

The file cannot be opened.
. Check that the file name and path are correct.
. Check that the file format is recognized by Project.
Project files saved in a version earlier than Microsoft Project 98 can't
be opened.
If your file is from an earlier version, open it in that version, click
Save as (File menu), and save in MPX format. Open the MPX file in the
current version of Project. When you use this method, project data is
imported, but formatting is lost.

wacntn,
My guess is that either there is some corruption in the sharer and/or
pool file, or one of the files was originally created in a Project
version earlier than Project 2000.

I would first try opening each file individually and saving it under
Project 2003. If that doesn't help, then go to our MVP website at:
http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm
and look at FAQ 43 - File bloat? Might be corruption

Hope this helps.
