What are the file extensions of those files? Do you have the appropriate

What are the file extensions? If you can't see them, click Tools, Folder
Options, View, and deselect "Hide extensions for known file types" in
any explorer window.

Download and install or purchase a CD for and install one of the Antivirus software applications available, then get the the latest
scan updates for it from the Antivirus software makers website and run a complete scan of all files on the PC to determine if any
of them are infected.

Some types of infection can be corrected or remediated by the Antivirus software, other types of malware infection cannot be
corrected.
