File Coversions or reading?

After I purchased a new DEll laptop recently I was happy
to see that the version of XP Office for Small business
installed contained Publisher 2002. I have recently
begun creating a newsletter for myself, which I had hoped
to make available on my web site. However, I am
struggling with understanding how to do this, as it is
unreadable unless you have publisher. Is this correct?
I have hoped it was compatable with Word...not. Is there
anyway to make a newsletter that is readable to the
masses, short of printing it and mailing it? Can it be
converted to a pdf file?

Thanks,

Any file that's capable of being printed can be converted to PDF.

If you do proceed to go with pdf files you may want to review a recent PC
Magazine article comparing 11 pdf conversion programs...

I also like to plug my own PDF convertion tool "PStill" - free demo at
http://www.pstill.com - as a PostScript based solution it works well
also with placed EPS, supports spot colors, CMYK colors, overprinting,
output to PDF/X and more...
