In Outlook 2003 when i use the Insert function to select an attachment to an
email from My Documents I'm unable when selecting View to get any details
like last Modified. For a while it showed the date taken as if it was a
photo but now it is just blank.

How can I amend the fields that are shown? I've tried under Tools but I
dont see the option. Its really annoying because

Am using Windows Vista for Business

Through Vista file manager I can see file details but through all Office
programs I dont see any Details even when I click on that tab.

Version of Windows? Which views do you use? You need to use Details then
right click on the row of field names and pick the ones you want to see.

Did you right click on the Name column and choose Date Modified? You may
need to click More to get to the modified field.

The Insert file explorer works exactly the same way as the Windows explorer.
Use the views button to change the icon size/list view and sort by clicking
on the field names. Right click on a field name to see the field name list
and add or remove fields from the Details view.
