I have Office 2007 installed on my laptop. I have an excel file in 97-2003
format. It worked fine for months but now when I try to open it says
"filname.xls:: file format is not valid". This file doesnt open in word at
all.
I tried opening this file on another laptop which has Office 2003 installed
on it & it gave the same error. I tried opening this file in word 2003 on
this laptop but it didnt open at all.
Can anyone help me with this? I have some important financial data in this
excel file & need to open it any how.
