File importing into visio

Hello - is there an external format that can be imported into visio to view?
For example - I have an illustrator file that needs to be viewed in a visio
format - can we just give the person the Illustrator file or another format
such as jpg, eps, tif, etc... for them to use to convert?

Just to add to JuneTheSecond's comment, I would have thought SVG would be a
good go between. You can also often copy and paste from Illustrator into
Visio (not you may need to do a bit of ungrouping). Basically your after a
vector format - ie EMF, SVG and not jpg or tif etc.
