I want my files (either.doc or .txt) to be saved alphabetically. They always
were bu now they are by earliest to latest in the folder. How do I get it
back to be alphabetical??

Click View > Arrange Icons By. Choose Name. If you are in Detail view,
click the Name column header.
You can click View > Folder Options, and click the View tab. There is a
button to make all folders look like the current folder, although I have to
say I'm not sure that the sort order will apply to all folders.
You have asked this in an Access newsgroup. Access is the relational
database program that is part of Office Professional. For more details
about your question you would do better to ask in a newsgroup for your
operating system.
