File Name and Location

Hi
Was wondering if there is a way that I can show the filename and
location in a cell on myh spreadsheet - I know in Word I can insert a
field with document name but is if possible or is there a function for
this besides using Headers and Footers. I would like it to show on a
cell rather than on the print preview.

Take a look in XL Help at the =INFO function (I believe the fx name is the
same as the PC version).

Take a look in XL Help at the =INFO function (I believe the fx name is the
same as the PC version).

INFO() can return the name of the application's CURRENT directory, but
that's not always the name of the workbook's directory.

A better option is to use CELL("filename",A1).
