"File Not Available" Error Message

Ran a virus scan with Norton on my Windows NT powered HP
Pavilion a345c. Had just run new live update. Now, I
can open Word, but every Word file I try to open I get an
error message "The file (filename) is not available."
After the same scan, I can also not upon my Excel files.
That error message says, "Unable to open (filename) file.
Your virus scanner detected a problem." Problem is,
there were no viruses detected. Of course, I can open
Word files with WordPerfect 11 and Excel files with Corel
Quatro, but I want to use the darn Word and Excel
programs too. By the way, I can create a new document
or "file" with either Word or Excel but even after saving
and closing them, of course, I can't open them. HELP!

Disable the Office Plug-in option in NAV.
