file not available

Word/Office will not let me open my saved documents. The
document work when saved on a CD and used on another
computer. The error message says File (then the file
name) not available. Any tips.

I tried deleting Office and reinstalling it.
I tried clearing out old Norton Antivirus files.

If you're trying to open it directly from a CD, that's the problem. Copy it
to your HD, remove the Read-Only attribute, and then open it from there.
