File not found

WEe are experiencec an unusual message when opening a project file from the
update page.

"Microsoft Visual Basic - File not found" appears. Does anyone know what
could cause this and how to correct it?

Are you using an old version of Microsoft Project? I've seen that error a
few years ago, when someone was using an old MSP version, and trying to open
a newer version MSP file.

Was this file created in MSP 2000, and at some point exported to MSP 98?
I've seen a similar error in that situation.

thanks for the reply.

We've never converted a old file or tried to open another with an older
version. This condition "file not found' is also showing up in Msp2002 Tool

Macros. We are getting another message whenever we attempt to record a

macro, that we have an invalid name. We tried a bunch of different name
without success. Any help would be appreciated.
