file not up-loading completely

My earlier post "slide show not working" only recieved one reply. Which I checked and made corrections to all files and folders that needed it. I then re-published my web. And that did not correct the problem. could this be something else besides file names or server. My server has FP 2002 server extensions. Which is the version I'm using. It should also be said my OS is XP Pro. Any help would be great, I'll try just about anything to get this fixed. Although I am a rookie at web design and FP.

I've copied the html views of my slideshow from both the www and the copy of the web from my cpu. The first is from my www the second is the latter. Could this be my problem? In the page properties. Under the general tab. The design-time control scripting is set at Platform) Client (IE 4.0 DHTML) Server) Inherit from web Client) Inherit from web. Are these settings correct or should the Platform be set at Server (ASP); Server at JAVA Script; Client to JAVA script or VBScript? I'm just wondering if these settings are causing conflict at the server end? They do seem to have changed the HTML script there. At least from what I have in my cpu. Thanks in advance for any help.

You may have path problem in your local site
the key in your code is the path to the include page:
u-include="../photogallery/photo32333/real.htm"
That indicates the included page (real.htm) relative to the page you are working on is one level up (../) in the folder
/photogallery/photo32333/

Is that the path you are seeing in Folder List
- if so run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks w/ all pages closed and Republsih
- or open your online site in FP and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks & check for any broken links

If your site has the FP Server Extensions (you are publishing using http mode),
Check the links online in FP
Open the online site in FP using File Open Web/Site and enter your URL - then log in

| Stefan,
| This does appear to be the problem. But in the www component errors report it shows.
| (A front page component refrences URL "../photogallery/photo041/real.htm", but the file for this URL cannot be found)
| When checking the files after publishing it appears as if the file shows up with nothing in it. Or only a partial load. I have
tried to up-load this file about every way I can. And it still shows up the same way. I can view the slide show on my cpu when I
open it from the www. But won't work from the web. Could there be something missing from the FP extensions on the server. That I
have in my FP 2002 on my CPU. I am a novice at this and really appreciate your input so far. Thanks in advance for any help you can
give.

I have done that, and the links are there. It is just not seeing the file. It's like it's missing. I have copied both the on-line and cpe verions if the html code to a note pad file. they are different, as if the java script has been changed. I have re-written the codes on the www. to match the cpe version and it just changed the path on the page. But still does not work no pictures or slide show at all. Just a blank page with the file path at the top. I could send you the two versions of script in an e-mail. Would that help you to see my problem. Let me know and i'll send it when I get a chance. Later today or this evening. Thanks again for your input

OK, sometimes it's the little things that get in your way. Like the brain for instance. My whole problem was simply, "POINTING THE HYPERLINK TO THE WRONG FILE".
To everybody who answers a question on this and many other sites. "THANK YOU VERY MUCH". It is you that trully make the www work. 'nuf sai
Thank you Stefan Rusynko and Rick Budde. Your help was great. Whether I was able to use it or not

The "versions" of the script won't help w/o the web site
In your online site in FP open the page containing the include page
Then right click the include page to it's properties and browse to the correct location of real.htm
- It should now show in your page - save the page
