When I open my local-based web (FP 2000 with Windows XP) I would
always get my full website with "new page1" opened by default. Now I
get nothing - just an empty, grey window. The web is there, and if I
open "index.htm" instead of the web - the window does open just fine.
Also, FrontPage is seeing the folder as a web because I see the
website icon. Also I see the title bar at the top lists the web.
As an analogy - if you open Microsoft Word, and then click the 2nd X
in the upper right to close Document1, then Word will be open bu the
entire inner portion below the toolbars will be empty space. This is
what is occuring in FrontPage.
