file opening error

I am using Nokia 9500 communicator and saving MS Office files in required
formate, but when I want to open them in my Laptop using O/S Windows Xp and
MS Office 2000 these files are not opend what could be the reason

What is the file extension? Does Office 2000 support this file? I do not know since I do not know what type of file extension the Nokia is saving with
