File Paths...

M

mhoctober

All,

I have a HUGE PP file that I am breaking down into smaller files.

I have buttons on the last slide of each file that, via an action
setting, takes me to the first slide of the next file.

All good thus far...until I burn to CD.

Unless the paths remain exactly the same I am in trouble.

Is there anyway I can make it that the links to other files just look
in teh same directory that the original file is in, no matter where
that maybe on different PCs etc?

Thanks

Hi mhoctober,

When you say huge, what do you mean? Obviously, if you are looking at
placing it onto a CD, it has to be under 800 MB.

First, before breaking the presentation apart, I would try to reduce the
size where it stands. Please check out the suggestions on this page:

Please report back, after taking all these steps, what the size of the
presentation is.
