File Permission error when saving to a floppy.

I am trying to save a mail merged document to a floppy
disk drive and it gives me the error message "Word cannot
complete save due to a file permission error. This is
Word 2000 on a Windows 2000 machine. I can save to the
hard drive just fine. I have even switched floppies and
it still won't work. I can copy the merged pages to a new
document and it will save to a floppy. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks!

NEVER save directly to a floppy drive. It is the number one method of
causing corrupt and lost document. Always save to the local HDD and then
COPY to the floppy drive.
