File permissions in front page

J

John

a web site designer has used a non MS product to make a
web site.

The web space has FP extensions enabled.
When asking the hosting company to change permissions on a
file they say that the designer should change it in FP. I
have FP but dont know how I would go about changing the
file permissions.

Can any one help?

If the site was not published using FP, the FP SE are corrupt
Have the host reapply or repair the FP SE
