Properties function in Excel or Word tells when created, accessed and
edited.
How do you lock someone out of this view? When a third party is sent
an Excel or Word file via email, and they click on File...Properties,
I don't want them to access the "Properties".
How can this be accomplished????

Tools are also available for "sanitising" the properties, and in Word 2003
at least there is also a built-in process for the same. Search the Help for
'remove personal information'.
