Hello MVP's
I am having a problem when saving a file with protection. Whenever, and I
have tried this several times, I perform a "save as" and click tools,
general options, and select protection and write protection (regardless of
selecting read only rec) I get a corrupt file that can not be opened.
I am very careful about the password to make sure I am using the correct
password. When I put in the incorrect password, I get an "incorrect"
password error. When I put in the correct password it either returns not
information or an error message that the data can not be dispalyed due to
too many rows. Thnis happens every time.
When I only select write protection, then it seems to work. Only when I use
both protections. Is there any way to retrieve the lost data?
Try it and let me know what happens. I am using MS project professional
