File Save As - Folders are no longer sorted

When I do a file save as, my folders are no longer sorted/alphabetical. When
I go to view them in Windows Explorer or through My Computer, they are
sorted. Trying to located unsorted folders is very time consuming. Any
answers on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

hi,
the default sort in the save as is set to something other
than alphabetical.
in the file save as dialog box, in the upper right corner
click the down arrow of the icon that looks like a small
spreadsheet.(on mine it is second from right) at the
bottom of the drop down click "arrange icons". You will
get another drop down with 4 sort choices. pick "name"
You might want to play with this icon some to get familar
with it.

There is no option in the pull down menu that says arrange by. That option
is only available when going through Windows Explorer or My computer. Again,
when I try to do a save as, when I highlight the drive I want, the folders
are all disorganized.

hi,
this option is available on mine in the file save as
dialong box. office 2k. and on mine, all of the options to
arange icons work. As i was typing my reply, i was
toggling over to excel and the file save as dialog box so
that i was sure i was type all in the correct order and to
get the exact terminology. i reread my reply and retraced
my steps. all is as i wrote in my replay.
so i don't know what to tell you now.
sorry i waisted your time.
