File search result doesn't tally with folder tree in Explorer ...

I want to transfer my autocorrect list from my PC to my laptop (both XP).
Having copied the list on my PC, I searched for mso*.acl to find the location
of the autocorrect list currently on the laptop. The search result was
Documents and Settings\Lesley\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Office. But when I go
to copy the autocorrect list to that location the folder tree doesn't tally
with the search result ... I get as far as 'Lesley' but the next branch
doesn't have 'ApplicationData'. I can't find Application Data anywhere
(manually - I can't search for a folder). Is this a 'hidden' folders issue or
something like that. How do I solve and find location for my file?

The Application Data (AppData) folder is indeed hidden. An easy way to find
it is to type: %AppData% in the Address bar of the Windows Explorer and
press Enter.

Thanks Beth ... I have now gone to Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View and
clicked button to 'show hidden folders', so can now see Application Data.
Thanks for that. All sorted.
