Hello there!
On a Microsoft 2003 domain network, I have two users who are working with
the same excel file shared on a departmental folder.
When one user has the file opened and another tries to open it, normally the
second user receives a warning saying "you only have read access because
'domain\so_and_so' has locked the file".
This is what I am expecting to happen, but there have been occasions when
this doesn't happen and both can save changes on the file, modifying each
other's work.
Any idea why this is happening and how to stop it?
