Ben,

I have noticed that when I work with graphics (both drawings and pictures) my Excel files tend to grow quickly. Sometimes I need to delete them and rearrange certain info. I found that simply deleting a column or row will not remove the graphics. They usually shrink to a level that I cannot see them, but they are still taking up space on the worksheet. So I have to make sure I remove all the graphics first before deleting rows or columns or my worksheets can grow exponentially over time as I work on the same workbook.

Maybe this info can help out some...
