File Upload issue

I'm trying to use the FP file upload bot. When I try to upload a file to
my site, I get

Form Validation Error
Please correct the information you provided by following these steps,
then submit the information again:

Cannot open file "some.txt" for writing.

Return to the form.

The file is not write protected. This is a commercially hosted site, so
I don't have access to server settings, if that's a problem.

you should contact the host and make sure the file upload component is
enabled.

Is the folder you are uploading to set to allow uploads?
On the live web (server) right-click the folder and choose properties.
Clear the box "Allow scripts to be run"
Check the box "Allow anonymous uploads to this folder"
Think about the third box.

If the checkboxes are disabled, you will have to talk to your host.

That was all done and no joy. The host has ASPUpload available, so I
used that. On to next challenge....
