So I have seen where people have had files not be associated and the problem
is solved by going to the Tools/File Type box and selecting them. However,
my files are all associated with the correct application, and it even
displays the right File Type in Explorer. When I try to open a file though,
it makes me select from a list saying that Windows doesn't know which to use.
Also, the icons on my desktop for all MS files are the basic icon instead of
having PowerPoint, Excel, etc, icons. I don't understand what happened...the
only thing I can think affected this was a forced shutdown. Help!
