Files with no prefix not working

We store Eclipse files in Groove. Now that we've upgraded to Groove 2007,
they no longer work. Files such as .project, .metadata, .org.eclipse.* are
"invalid" according to Groove.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I do not see this property listed. Also, it is not specific to any particular
file extension. It is any file that has no name, and simply a file extension.
E.g.,:

..profile
..metadata
..project

Go to Options - Preferences - Secuirty - File Restrictions and un-tick te box

If the File Restrictions switch does not work - check with your Groove
Management Server Administration. Some GMS policy have file restrictions set
that cannot be changed (presuming your Groove client is under the GMS).
