I have some strange files that have popped
up. "Thumbs.db" What are these files? How come they seem
to have just popped up from nowhere? Do I need them, or
can I delete them?
I am using Frontpage 2002 to build my website on tripod.
I use the site to post my homework for on line classes
dealing with images.
Thank you!
Tammie

These files are created when you choose to View , Thumbnails in Windows
Explorer. You can delete them or you can leave them (they won't harm
anything).

They need to be deleted from the web folder, since they are read-only and
will cause future problems when re-publishing your local copy to a Windows
IIS web server.
