Filing mails to network folders - please help!

I know this facility no longer exists in OLk2003, but is anyone aware of a
stable addin/application which would allow me to do this? I have one very
senior Director who *relies* on this and is loath to be upgraded until we can
give him a working alternative. I have tried MailFiler Pro which seems overly
complex (the only feature I am looking for is this system folder filing) and
very unstable (constantly crashing).

Does anyone know of a sturdy, simple addin/app I can purchase?

Do you need to file the mail items to a file share, or
could you do it to a public folder? I have a utility
which I use myself, for filing to a public folder, but it
will also allow you to file to a PST folder, a mailbox
folder, basically any MAPI folder.

Would that help?
