If you do it once, manually, you could then add it to your "Custom Lists",
and it would become automatic from there on.
Create the list and select it, then:
<Tools> <Options> <CustomLists>
The "Import" box should already contain the range of the list, since you had
selected it.
Just click <Import> <OK>.
You now have the ability to drag and fill.
While you're at it, it might pay to create a list for the alphabet.
Never understood why Redmond didn't include this as a default.
