filling a query in a external database from excel 2007

Hi all.

im looking for a way to put a data in a Cell.
this cell is a field in a Query in an external database.
then the Query must get the run command in Excel
the data that the query must reported back to excel.

does some1 this allready done in excel 2007 ??
