Filling colours in a floor plan

R

Ryan

I putting together a floor plan, and i have created a bunch of rooms, and i
want to be able to fill in colours for different rooms, so we can show where
different group will be allocated to.

Also, is there a way to have the square footage of the room automatically
get calculated and be diplayed in the room that i have just drawn?

Thank You!!

You can do both jobs in one go. Just drop a "Space" shape on the
diagram and adjust it to suit your room. That will give you a display
of the room's area. Now you can change that the Space shape's fill
colour and pattern.

I found "snap to alignment box" to work well in order to adjust the "space"
to the "room".
Gluing does not seem to be possible.
Neither adjusting it to the outer walls of the room.
