filling in geometric shapes made with lines

can I convert a shape that was drawn by connecting lines to a Visio Shape,
capable of being filled with color?

I need some shapes that have perspective, and I haven't figured out if it is
possible to give a shape some 3-d perspective

Sorry what I meant by the 2nd paragraph was, when I draw a shape using one of
the shape tools, I need to add some 3-D perspective...if this is possible,
then I wouldn't have to draw the shape with the line tools...

Not really, Visio is a 2D tool, however, there are a few shapes that
have been made to look and act like 3D to an extent. Have a llook at
the stencil menu File -> Shapes -> Block Diagram -> Blocks with
Perspective
or for Visio 2007 menu File -> Shapes -> General -> Blocks with
Perspective
