Filter by form doesn't work on subform data

Hello:

I have created view form with related subforms. I like to sort on the main
form data and / or subform data. I like to use "filter by form".

Filter by form works on the main form data but it doesn't work on the
subform data. When I put the filter by form query criteria in a subform and
click on the filter it will show all records and the subform stay blank.

Any help is appreciated
