filter for NOT mydomain.com

Beau

I am using Office 2007 and have followed the suggestion for how to write a
rule for a whole domain. This seems to work when used for email from outside
my domain. I would like to create a rule to highlight external emails or not
from my domain.
When I create an Automatic Formatting Rule via Filter dialog Advanced tab
"From doesn’t contain mydomain.com" the results is all emails where the From
text as displayed in Outlook does not include mydomain.com. This is almost
all including internal and external. Inverting the rule is consistent and
highlights things like from (e-mail address removed).
How can I create a rule for "From doesn’t contain mydomain.com"?

Thanks in advance

could you do it using the Exception aspect of a Rule?
