Filter in Project Detail View does not work

Hi there! I am running Project Server 2007 EN. Now I have changed the date
format in PWA to "dd.mm.yyyy" via Site Settings ---> Regional Settings -->
Locale. As a consequence filters or autofilter on dates do not work anymore.
Has anyone any idea why?

I did some further investigation on this: When locale in PWA is set to
"German" the date filter does not work for clients that have an English
operating system. When set to "English" the date filter does not work for
clients with a German operating system.
