Filter list and have copied to another location

I am trying to filter a list or use a drop down list to chose one item
from a list and then have only that one item to be copied automatically
to another sheet.

The sheet with the list would be set up like a form to select items and
the second sheet would use that info to write up a sales quote.

that uses data validation and VLookup formulas to return data to an
invoice. You may be able to adapt that to your workbook.

Under 'Data Validation' look for 'Invoice for Selected Number'
