Filter records

Hi All,
i have a database to store the record of all IT devices. I will like to
create a button to filter my record. My idea is, i got a button which when
the form is showing filtered records, the button will be "Show All" and when
the form is showning all records then the button be "Filter Record".
When the user click to filter the record, a form will prompt the user the
parameter to filter the record by the Status of the record. Below are the
status avaliable in my database.

In Service
Inactive
Disposed
Transferred
In Storage
Home Use

Anyone can tell me how can i do so?

your query but if you want to filter the directly to the report you use the
where clause of the Docmd command.
