When I filter a column of many names how can I referance the results in
another cell below all the names?

Can you elaborate on this? You want to filter one name from a list of names
and then copy that name to a new cell below the list?

Actually the list is 2400 names long, once filtered it show the name 12
times one for each months. I have a presentation spreadsheet below the list
of names and I would like the filtered name listed in the presentation.
