Filtering a Subform

Hi,

I am trying to apply a filter to a subform and am not
having much luck. The user is presented with all records
in the subform (from which they will select records and
they appear in another subform).

I would like them to be able to filter the selection if
they are only interested in a subset of records. I have
succeeded in filtering when I open the subform on it's own
but not when opened within the main form.

Any suggestions on how to get the filtering to work on a
subform?
