Filtering inbox

In Outlook 2007, is there a way to filter my messages as they come in and
move them to specific folders based on what is in the "Subject" field or
"From" field?

While inside Outlook, hit the F1 key. In the help, search on "rules".

That was it. I had used it before but couldn't remember what they called
it. I kept thinking it was filtering.
