P PegL May 11, 2005 #3 If they're contiguous, you can select the columns you want to filter and select auto filter.
J JB May 11, 2005 #4 Here is an example of what I mean. I have data in columns A-D, but only want a filter on A and C. Is this possible . . . or do I have to have auto filter

D Dave Peterson May 12, 2005 #5 You have to filter from A:C (you can ignore D if you want). But you need to use some code to hide the arrow in column B. The link that Ron posted to Debra's site has some sample code. If you're new to macros, you may want to read David McRitchie's intro at: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm
