Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I try to click on the dropdown arrows for the filter, nothing happens. A hand appears over it but it doesn't allow me to actually click on it. When I hold shift and go over the dropdown arrows, an arrow pointer appears but still doesn't allow me to click on it. It is in autofilter.

Is there something else I'm suppose to be doing to get the dropdown arrows let me select the filter?

Unprotect your worksheet (or protect it only for objects/scenarios).
