Financial Smart Tags Not Recognized

Can anyone tell me how to force Excel to recognize stock symbols as smart
tags. I have entered a list of symbols and most are recognized. However,
for the symbol WU-Western Union and MON-Monsanto, the smart tag symbol and
drop down box do not show up. Because of this, I am not able to insert a
"refreshable stock quote".

I've had this issue for a long time and I still haven't found a
solution short of creating my own smart tag. I can't believe that
Microsoft doesn't have smart tags already in the system for all
publicly traded entities, and that it's not easier to link my symbol
to an external data base.
