find/replace available in frontpage?

I have not purchased frontpage yet. I am considering it.
I have a website and have ftp'd all the files from my
existing site to a new registered domain. Here is my
question:

Some of my image files (ex www.oldsite.com/image.jpg )
need to be changed to www.newsite.com/image.jpg does
frontpage allow me to "find/replace" terms on every
webpage? I have over 1500 pages to update.

I am doing it by hand now copying the html code into
microsoft word, using the find/replace to replace on each
individual page oldsite.com with newsite.com it works,
but is VERY tedious. I've done 20 pages and have had it
already!

Do you know if frontpage can do this? Thank you!

Sincerely,
An internet dummy, Beth

Yes FrontPage has a "Global find and replace" feature that will search the
html and find and replace what you specify.
The thing to keep in mind though, is that you don't need absolute urls to
display images. ie: src=www.oldsite.com/image.jpg
All you need is the relative path to the file within the website. Example,
if the image is in the images folder all you would need is
src="images/image.jpg" then regardless of where you publish the paths will
always be correct.
