Find & Replace will not stop!!!

I used find and replace in a document and now I cannot get
it to stop. It does it in every document I use now!!!
How do I get it to go away?????!!!!!

Click on the ball button between the browse arrows at the bottom of the
vertical scroll bar and change the Browse Object back to Browse by Page.
