find string and return true

hi,

i am trying to figure out a worksheet function, which would look for
particular string, say "hi", in a cell which would have a sentence, sa
"hi my name is joe doe", and return true. find and search would retur
the positions.

basically, my requirement is to look for a particular string in colum
A and return "true" in column B if the string exists.

please help.

=ISNUMBER(FIND("hi",A1))
another way:
=COUNTIF(A1,"*hi*")>0
