Find taskduration format in OLEDB

I have a combination of tasks with durations in "d" and "ed" in my schedule.
In VBA using an OLEDB connection I extract the taskduration, but this only
gives me the value of the duration, not the format. What field do I need to
select in order to find out if this taskduration is in "d" or "ed"?
